EFA: Nordic Storm remain unbeaten with commanding road win over Prague Lions

The Nordic Storm (4-0) continued their perfect start to the European Football Alliance season with a 40-14 road victory over the Prague Lions (0-4) in Prague, building a 33-0 halftime lead before the home side found the scoreboard late.

Storm strike early

Th Nordic Storm wasted no time taking control. After receiving the opening kickoff, Jadrian Clark marched the offense down the field and found Roberto Miranda for a six-yard touchdown. Minutes later, Glen Toonga powered in from four yards out as the visitors quickly built a 13-0 lead.

The problems continued for the Prague Lions as Clark connected with Brendan Beaulieu on a 22-yard touchdown pass late in the first quarter. By the end of the opening period, Nordic Storm had established a commanding 20-0 advantage.

Lions miss opportunities

To their credit, the Prague Lions battled hard in the second quarter and created a few chances to get back into the game. Jan Krs intercepted Clark to halt one promising drive, while the defense forced several mistakes and penalties.

However, the offense struggled to turn those opportunities into points. Jaylon Henderson and Adam Žouželka moved the ball at times, while William Patterson provided several key gains, but Prague could not find the end zone.

Instead, Clark engineered two more scoring drives. Simon Føns hauled in a 37-yard touchdown reception before Beaulieu added his second touchdown catch of the night in the final minute of the half, giving Nordic Storm a 33-0 lead at the break.

Defense keeps pressure on

The visitors continued to control the game after halftime. A third-quarter turnover by the Lions set up another scoring opportunity, and Clark eventually found Føns for his second touchdown reception to stretch the lead to 40-0.

While the scoreline looked one-sided, the Prague defense never quit. Ken Hike Jr., Delshawn Petrosky, Aleksandar Borković, and Jan Krs all came up with important plays, helping limit further damage during the second half.

Pride shown late

The final quarter finally brought something for the home fans to celebrate. Hike Jr. stepped in front of a pass and returned the interception 85 yards for a touchdown.

Later, Henderson capped a long drive with an 18-yard touchdown run, and Marek Hruboň converted both extra points.

The late scores narrowed the final margin, but Nordic Storm remained firmly in control throughout. Clark spread the ball effectively to Beaulieu, Miranda, and Føns, while Toonga powered the running game as Nordic Storm improved to 4-0 and strengthened its position among the top teams in the EFA. Meanwhile, the Prague Lions fell to 0-4 but showed plenty of fight despite the outcome.
