European League of Football’s German Knights 1367 sign former NFL, GFL receiver Anthony Dablé-Wolf
The newly-formed Knights 1367 from Germany, who will be playing in the European League of Football, ELF, have announced the signing of former NFL receiver Anthony Dablé-Wolf.
Dablé-Wolf played for the German Football League’s Hildesheim Invaders in 2019 catching 70 passes for 820 yards and a team-leading 14 touchdowns. The year before, he managed to play in just two games for the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions before suffering an injury. he caught four passes for 75 yards and one touchdown.

He made history in 2016 as the first European to join an NFL team without previous NFL or college experience. He signed with the Giants after a tryout that was arranged by ex-Giant Osi Umenyiora, who was working for the NFL in London as an ambassador.
He was followed by Germany’s Mauritz Bohringer shortly after.who was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings.

After lasting with the Giants through preseason, he was released and did not get signed to the practice squad.
Following a tryout with the New England Patriots, Dablé signed a futures contract with the Atlanta Falcons in early 2017 and also last through training camp and the preseason. He was released despite a much better performance than the year previous with the Giants.

In late 2015, the 6’5″, 215 lb, the then 27 year old (now 32-year-old) Dablé was coming off a superb season after winning his second straight German Bowl with the Lions and the Eurobowl while also helping France to a fourth place finish in the IFAF World Championships.
Widely considered one of the most dangerous receivers and returners in Europe in 2015, Dablé had signed to play with France’s Aix en Provence Argonautes for the 2016 season.
In his three years with the Lions, 2013-2015, he caught 145 passes for almost 2,500 yards and 32 touchdowns.
