In a battle of struggling teams, the Toulouse Ours (2-5) secured a 27-12 victory against the Aix-en-Provence Argonautes (2-4-1) in the seventh round of the French D1 Elite Southern Conference. Both teams were looking to turn their seasons around, with Toulouse seeking their first win since Week 3.
Fast start for Toulouse
The game kicked off with a bang as Louis Salvagniac quickly put the Ours on the board with a touchdown, giving them an early 7-0 lead. The Argonautes responded swiftly, narrowing the gap to just one point. However, Toulouse was determined to maintain control. Quarterback Nick Eilers connected with Pierre Hilderald for a touchdown shortly after, extending the lead. The duo struck again before halftime, and by the break, the Ours held a comfortable 21-6 advantage.

After a scoreless stretch of over 15 minutes, the Argonautes finally found the end zone with a touchdown from Nicolas Padreddii, making it 21-12. But Toulouse answered back, as Hilderald caught his third touchdown of the night, sealing the game at 27-12.
