LIVESTREAM AFLE: Rhein Fire @ Alpine Rams, June 27, 17:10 CET (5:10 pm, 11:10 am ET)
The American Football League Europe returns to Switzerland on Saturday as the Alpine Rams (1-3) host the Rhein Fire (3-1) in a Week 6 matchup featuring two teams with very different momentum. The Rhein Fire arrive after an exciting 45-36 derby victory over the Berlin Thunder, while the Rams are still trying to recover from a heartbreaking last-second 23-22 loss to the Paris Lights. With the playoff race beginning to take shape, both teams have plenty riding on this showdown, even if they are entering it from opposite directions.
Quarterback duel takes center stage
The spotlight falls squarely on quarterbacks Kenji Bahar and Seth Morgan.
Bahar continues to settle into the Rhein Fire offense and is coming off another strong outing against Berlin. He distributed the ball efficiently to a talented receiving corps led by Kaylon Geiger and Harlan Kwofie, who combined for more than 250 receiving yards in last week’s 45-36 victory. When Bahar gets into rhythm, the Fire offense becomes one of the league’s toughest units to contain.
Morgan has consistently given the Rams a chance to compete. He will need another poised performance against a Fire defense that made several key plays late against Berlin to secure the victory.

Fire bring momentum
The win over Berlin Thunder may prove to be a turning point for Rhein Fire. The offense piled up big numbers while Jonathan Scott delivered the decisive rushing touchdown in the closing minutes to cap a 45-point performance.
Scott continues to provide balance to the offense, allowing Bahar to attack defenses through the air. If the running game establishes itself early, Geiger and Kwofie could find plenty of opportunities downfield.
Rams seek response
The Alpine Rams have shown throughout the season they are capable of competing with strong opponents despite their record. Their narrow defeat to the Paris Lights, decided by a late Boris Bede field goal, demonstrated the resilience of Seth Morgan and his offense.
Kevin Kaya remains one of the most dangerous playmakers in the league, and the Rams will need him to produce explosive plays if they hope to slow one of the hottest teams in the American Football League Europe. Staying disciplined and capitalizing on scoring opportunities could give the home side a legitimate chance to pull off an upset.
