The Amiens Spartiates, who finished second in the North with a 6-3-1 record, will face the 6-4 Grenoble Centaures, who were third place finishers in the South, on Saturday, June 1 in the French Federation of American Football Wild Card playoffs.

The Spartiates returned to the top league in France after five seasons in Div. 2 and advanced to the playoffs after winning six of their last seven games, including the final two which ensured post season play.

For Grenoble, it took an outstanding performance in the final regular season game of the year, a 28-21 victory over the Marseille Blue Stars, to qualify for the playoffs.

The winner of the game will move on to face the Thonon Black Panthers in one semifinal.
