The Paris Musketeers have officially signed British kicker Dean Faithfull, adding a seasoned talent to their roster as they prepare for the upcoming season in the European Football Alliance. The Musketeers, who finished the 2025 ELF season with a 7-5 record and narrowly missed the playoffs, are looking to strengthen their special teams with this acquisition.

A unique journey to Paris
Faithfull, hailing from Hampshire County, U.K., is known for his clutch performance with the Edmonton Elks in the Canadian Football League, where he kicked a walk-off game-winning field goal in the 2023 Labour Day Classic. His journey to professional football is quite unconventional; he initially played collegiate soccer at Florida Tech before transitioning to football in 2019. After being encouraged to try placekicking during a visit to his alma mater, Faithfull quickly made a name for himself.

Proven track record
In the CFL, Faithfull was selected second overall in the 2023 Global Draft and had a solid rookie season, converting 23 of 29 field goals and 35 of 37 extra points. His ability to perform under pressure was highlighted by a memorable 42-yard game-winner against the Calgary Stampeders. After a brief return to the Elks in 2024, he transitioned to arena football, where he excelled as the primary kicker for the Billings Outlaws. During his time with the Outlaws, Faithfull showcased his accuracy and reliability, earning accolades for his performance, including a game-winning field goal in the regular-season finale.
