Parma Panthers Capture 4th Straight Italian Title

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Parma Panthers have won their fourth consecutive IFL league title by beating the Milano Seamen 51-28 in the Italian Super Bowl XXXIIII, played in front of about 4,000 spectators in Ferrara, Italy this past Saturday.The Panthers dominated the ground game, out-gaining Milano 331 to 42.
Alessandro Malpeli Avalli, who ran 158 yards in 20 carries, was elected Most Valuable Player. American RB Ryan Christian (16 carries, 171 yards, 1 TD), and QB Thomas Monardi (10/20, 163 yards, 1 INT, 4 TDs) also played outstanding for the Panthers.
The Parma Panthers offense racked up 494 yards total compared to the Milano Seamen’s 310. The Panthers dominated the ground game, out-gaining Milano 331 to 42.
