Dresden Monarchs re-sign record-breaking WR Tyler Hudson

The Dresden Monarchs have ensured their explosive offense remains intact by re-signing superstar wide receiver Tyler Hudson, the 2025 GFL Offensive Player of the Year, following a historic debut season that established him as one of Europe’s most dominant pass-catcher.

In 15 games, Hudson amassed a staggering 1,995 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns on 110 receptions, adding a two-point conversion. His versatility shone on special teams as well, where he racked up 770 return yards—including an electrifying 100-yard touchdown. His 170 total points not only earned him team MVP honors but also made him the league’s top scorer.

College background and professional experience
Prior to joining the MonarchsHudson built an impressive collegiate résumé across four seasons at the University of Central Arkansas and University of Louisville. At Central Arkansas, he recorded 167 receptions for 3,062 yards and 27 touchdowns in 33 games. He added another 69 catches for 1,064 yards and two scores during his time at Louisville. His professional journey also included a preseason stint with the Los Angeles Rams before his standout year in Dresden.

What his return means
