ELF: Paris Musketeers sign lightning-fast French CB Khefil Osseni

The Paris Musketeers have announced the signing of Team France cornerback Khefil Osseni ahead of the 2023 European League of Football season.

The 5’9″, 176 pound, 27-year-old native of Grenoble, France, spent the 2022 season first helping the Marseilles Blue Stars reach the French semifinals before playing the final two games of the German Football League season with GFL semifinalists, the Cologne Crocodiles. He started his career at the age of 17 playing for his hometown Grenoble Centaures.

His blazing speed (laser-timed 4.28 40 yard dash) and excellent cover skills earned him a spot on the French national team where he has been a mainstay in the secondary since 2019.

In November of 2019, he was a participant at the First Pro Football Hall of Fame Camp in France, where he was elected ‘Most Athletic & Fastest Player’ of the camp from among nearly 100 other players.

Musketeers head coach Marc Matioli:

“Khefil is a guy that we found out a bit later in the recruiting process and I’m very happy we did. He has experience playing in France as well as Germany. When I saw Khefil’s video I was really impressed. He has great man to man cover skills as well as the ability to play zone. He also has excellent interception skills, which is one of the most important things for a DB. He has a great attitude and works hard to develop his body as well as his skills as a player. Excited to work with him and watch him grow. He has the ability to be an impact player in this league. Very happy to have him on our team.”
