Football For Life – Team USA’s Journey To China, Game 3, Episode 4

In 2016, the United States traveled to Harbin, China to defend their U19 IFAF World Championship title from 2014. Team USA had won two of the three world championship tournaments held since 2009 and would be facing six other teams during the two-week event.

As Team USA underwent preparations to take on Canada, Japan, Mexico, Austria, Australia and China, USA Football documented the entire tournament following the team from training camp through to the championship final in a continuation of the wildly popular Football For Life series.

The players and coaches of Team USA are on a once-in-a-lifetime journey so follow along and enjoy the ride.

Team USA has settled into life in China and beaten their first opponent, Austria, handily but discovered that they did face stiff opposition and in Game 2 had to come from behind to defeat Canada 32-14. Now, they would be tested by one of the world’s best U19 squads, Team Japan.

Football For Life gives viewers an exclusive look into the lives these young men as they play in their third  game against a tough opponent. And viewers will also meet defensive secondary coach Brandon Younger. Watch as the players explore Harbin and get a taste of an authentic Chinese food market.
