LIVESTREAM: Poland – Krakow Kings @Wroclaw Panthers, Sat. April 6, 1:30p CEDT (7:30a EDT)

The 2-0 Wroclaw Panthers will welcome the visiting Krakow Kings (1-0) to Olympic Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland on Saturday, April 6 as Poland’s Liga Futbolu Amerykańskiego heads into its third weekend of play.

Wroclaw has been the powerhouse in Poland in recent years and while they lost the final last year to the Lowlanders in a tight game, they are considered one of the heavy favorites to win the LFA title.

Last week, Wroclaw easily disposed of the Opole Towers 54-7 and the week before overwhelmed the reigning champions, the Bialystok Lowlanders 45-6. In the Panthers rout of the the Lowlanders two weeks ago, quarterback Chris Forcier threw two touchdown passes and ran another one in himself. He left the game in the third quarter with Wroclaw leading 31-6. His replacement, Bartosz Dziedzic, added the final touchdown after Konrad Starczewski  had scored on a 10 yard run.

For the Kings, who are playing in the top league for the first time, Canadian quarterback Tivon Cook is the key along with Filip Mościcki. The Kings trailed 14-0 last week in their opening round 32-14 win over the Poznan Armia. But the duo helped engineer 32 second half points in an impressive offensive display. However, they will be facing the best defense in the league in the Panthers.
