Team Israel heads to Çarşamba Stadyumu in Samsun, Turkey, Thursday, September 19 for a first round game in  IFAF Men’s 2020 European Championships Group B qualifying action.

This is the first game in Group B which also includes Hungary, Belgium and Spain.

The Belgians played an international friendly a week ago against Ireland, losing 7-6.

This is the first ever meeting between Turkey and Israel. The last time Israel played was against Switzerland in an IFAF European Championship Qualifying Tournament in 2016. The Swiss overwhelmed Team Israel 51-0.

Turkey last took the field a year ago, defeating Spain 14-7 in Spain.
