ELF: 2023 Paris Musketeers – A Complete Roster Breakdown

The Paris Musketeers have posted their current 2023 European League of Football roster via their website.

The current roster features a total of 52 players, with four Americans, three Spaniards, one Italian, one Australian, and at least 20 players who have experience playing for the Paris-based La Courneuve Flash.

Offensively, new head coach Marc Mattioli will look for the league’s best quarterback last year to lead the offense in Zach Edwards. Edwards reunites with his favorite target from last year in Kyle Sweet, who led the league in catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns. The dynamic duo will look to continue their chemistry from their time with Barcelona last year.

Offensive lineman Celestin Ngimbi and Eduardo Sanchez Gonzalez also join the two from the Dragons, hoping to allow Spanish tight end Adria Botella Moreno and a diverse cast of French playmakers such as Meril Zero, Stephen Yepmo, Jason Aguemon, Remi Bertellin, Cheikhou Sow, and Stephane Fortes to shine, in what has the potential to be the ELF’s most exciting offense.

Defensively, linebacker Dauson Dales  and former University of Missouri (NCAA DI) defensive back Cam Hilton will be the Musketeers two Americans. The imports will be joined by Italian cornerback Felix Proulx who played for coach Mattioli with the Parma Panthers, and Australian defensive lineman Jack Loew.

The imports join a physical and experienced unit of French defenders featuring several ELF veterans such as Mamadou SyGiovanni Nanguy, Stanley Zeregbe, Edwin Elio, Amir Kilani, Vincent Buffett, Randy Abandzounou, Maxime Roger, and Paul Veritas. Some new faces to the league include linebacker Digaan Gomis Katchanga who returns to France after a productive college career in Canada, and national team safety Kenny Floret.
